Quando prendo il registratore in mano, mi piace produrre lavori narrativi e ricchi di suono, in cui siano il sound design e il non detto a guidare chi ascolta. Lavoro in inglese e italiano e i miei lavori sono stati selezionati da festival e radio in giro per il mondo (Rai Radio 3, XMTR, Audio Flux, HearSay Festival, Prix Europa),Da anni gioco a fare il critico, anche se preferisco chiamarmi "ascoltatore attento". Scrivo di podcast su Rumore e Orecchiabile e ne parlo ogni qual volta mi venga dato un microfono in mano (tra chi ha fatto questo errore ci sono Rai Radio 1 e il Festival di Internazionale)Per portare in giro il mio amore per il mezzo audio e combattere con dolcezza il dilagare dei video-podcast, curo eventi di ascolto pubblico e tengo lezioni e workshop introduttivi al mondo dell'audio.

When I pick up a recorder, I like making narrative, sound-rich pieces where sound design lead the listener through the story. I work in Italian and English, and my pieces have been selected by festivals, prizes, and radio stations around the world, including Rai Radio 3, XMTR, Audio Flux, HearSay Festival, and Prix Europa.For years I’ve been pretending to be a critic, though I prefer to think of myself as a very attentive listener. I write about podcasts for Rumore and Orecchiabile, and I talk about them whenever someone makes the mistake of handing me a microphone. Among those who have made that mistake are Rai Radio 1 and Internazionale Festival.To take my love for audio out into the world, and gently resist the rise of video podcasts, I curate public listening events and teach introductory classes and workshops on audio, podcasts, and listening culture.Selected things to brag about:2026:

Botanismi è un piccolo viaggio nel mondo vegetale, animato dal tentativo di connettere le nostre umane esperienze a tutto il verde che ci circonda e di cui spesso ci dimentichiamo, persi nelle nostre complicate vite di animali.Attraverso un sound design evocativo, il podcast si propone di immergere l'ascoltatore in micro racconti sonori, alternando la narrazione vera e propria a pillole di nozioni scientifiche. Botanismi è il nostro personale tentativo di coniugare narrazione e divulgazione attraverso un uso creativo del suono.Mettiti le cuffie, chiudi gli occhi e rilassati. Piccoli episodi di 5/6 minuti ti trasporteranno in un mondo pieno di clorofilla.

Botanismi is a gentle journey into the world of plants. An attempt to weave our human experiences with the green world that surrounds us and that we often forget about in our busy animal lives.Through evocative sound design, the podcast draws listeners into a series of sonic micro-stories, weaving together immersive storytelling with bite-sized scientific insights. Botanismi is our own attempt to bring narrative and science communication together through a creative use of sound.
